Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect only what you choose to type into the consult form. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We use what you send us to contact you about care, and nothing else.

Information you give us

If you submit the consult request form, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your state of residence
• Your preferred contact method
• The best time to reach you

That is the entire form. There is no field for symptoms, diagnoses, medications, or insurance details.

Information collected automatically

Our web host records standard server information when any page is requested — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors, and we do not connect them to patient records.

What this site does not do

• No analytics. There is no Google Analytics or comparable tool on this site.
• No advertising or retargeting. There are no advertising pixels, and we do not run ads that follow you elsewhere.
• No session recording. We do not record your mouse movements, keystrokes, or screen.
• No cookies set by us. This site does not place cookies on your device.
• No selling or renting of information. Not to data brokers, marketers, or anyone else.

Service providers we rely on

Netlify

Hosts this website and receives consult form submissions on our behalf. Netlify keeps server logs as described above.

Google Fonts

Supplies the typefaces used on this site. Because your browser requests the font files directly, Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

How we use what you send

We use the information from the consult form to contact you about scheduling, to answer your questions, and to determine whether we are the right fit for your needs. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing messages.

How long we keep it

Consult form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to keep a basic record of the request. If you contact us and do not become a patient, you can ask us to delete the submission.

Once you become a patient, your clinical record is governed by different rules — including the retention requirements that apply to medical records — rather than by this policy.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold from your website submission
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form submissions are transmitted over that encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send health information through the form.

Children

TrueNorth provides care to adults 18 and older, and this website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

This site may link to outside resources, such as crisis services or government pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
